Designed with experience. Built around you.
I am Larry Najera Jr., a communications designer and marketing consultant. Since 1991, I have created logos and identity packages for businesses and organizations.
A logo identifies your business. A visual identity connects that mark with typography, color, imagery, and consistent applications. I consider both, so your brand can work across your website, print, signage, and social media.
Messaging, slogans, and product naming can also be discussed as part of the project. More about my experience ↗

Logo and branding questions, answered.
What is the difference between a logo and branding?
A logo is the mark that identifies your business. Branding is broader: the message, visual identity, and experience people associate with it. A visual identity system helps your logo, typography, colors, and marketing materials work together.
Do I need a new logo or a brand refresh?
That depends on what is working today. I review your existing logo, recognition, audience, and applications before recommending a new direction or a more focused refinement.
What can a logo and branding project include?
The scope can include a custom logo, logo variations, color and typography direction, usage guidelines, and selected applications. Websites, stationery, brochures, packaging, apparel, and signage can be discussed in the proposal.
How much does logo design cost, and how long does it take?
Cost and timing depend on the scope, number of applications, and feedback process. After reviewing your goals and materials, I provide a proposal with the agreed work and schedule.
What logo files will I need?
Your website, printer, sign maker, and social channels may need different formats and versions. We identify those uses during planning and specify the deliverables in the project scope.
Can you work with my existing logo?
Yes. I can review the artwork you already have and discuss a refresh or new applications. Share the available files, your goals, and any existing brand guidelines so I can assess what is needed.
Can you carry the identity into my website and marketing?
Yes. Website design, print materials, social media graphics, and other brand applications can be included in an agreed scope, helping the identity stay consistent across your communications.
How do we get started?
Tell me about your business, audience, goals, and the materials you need. Existing logo files and examples of what you like are useful starting points. We can then discuss the best next step.
