Put love of neighbor into practice.
Neighbors helping neighbors · Macon, Georgia
St. Joseph Catholic Church connects parish life with practical care for neighbors. Its St. Vincent de Paul page describes local support with utilities, shelter-related services, household essentials, and food through the food bank at St. Peter Claver Church.
Three ways to start
- Find the right contact. Start with the church’s St. Vincent de Paul page for assistance routes and current information.
- Give what is needed. Ask about donating household goods, furniture, or small appliances, or supporting the ministry financially.
- Learn about serving. Explore person-to-person service through a parish conference and ask how to get involved.
