A Marine Corps League website redesign for Greater Greensboro Detachment 260, bringing its programs, events and history together in a clearer online home.

Greensboro, North Carolina · Website redesign + on-page SEO

Marine Corps League Greater Greensboro Detachment 260 homepage redesign by Najera Design.

01 / The organization

A shared history. An active community.

Greater Greensboro Detachment 260 serves veterans and the wider Greensboro community through fellowship, events and youth programs. Its website also holds years of newsletters, historical material and member stories.

I refreshed the WordPress / Divi website to make that depth easier to explore. A stronger homepage, organized navigation and consistent page styling help visitors move from the detachment’s mission to the information they need.

02 / Website improvements

Make the next step easier.

A stronger first impression.

The redesigned homepage pairs the detachment’s identity with a clear introduction, community imagery and direct routes to events and contact information. Navy, red and warm gold give the pages a consistent visual direction.

Programs and events within reach.

Refined navigation brings events, the golf tournament and the Eagle Scout program into focus. More readable page layouts help visitors find program information, event details and the next step.

A home for history and publications.

The Grinder newsletter, historian resources and member columns remain part of the site’s story. Organized links help members and visitors explore both current updates and the detachment’s archive.

On-page SEO and practical upkeep.

Heading cleanup, clearer page descriptions and content maintenance support a more coherent site structure. The work keeps existing resources accessible while improving how individual pages present their purpose.

04 / Books + presentation

Bring the publications into focus.

The anniversary book and Our Favorite Recipes cookbook each received a more polished online presentation. Book mockups, readable supporting content and existing ordering resources give these publications a clear place within the site.

The anniversary book page connects the detachment’s history with a tangible publication visitors can explore.
