TEDx Macon was held on Saturday, May 5th at The Cox Capitol Theatre in downtown Macon, GA. According to the organizers, who included Makenna Held , Chris Nylund , Craig Coleman , and Chris Horne , 75 Maconites enjoyed the event. TEDx Macon speakers that shared their ideas based on the theme, “Macon Local,” were:

TEDxMacon made its debut into the world on May 5th, 2012. The event theme was "Macon Local" and the goal was to curate local voices that need to be heard, discuss the goods and the bads of Macon, and get the ‘creative class’ together in a way that could promote action and dialogue.
